i had my big presentation today - if i look calm, it's because i took these photos after i was done!
good presentation at work today by some students from Abertay Uni. It was a mixture of games/ mini apps on the lines of music mixers, drawing apps and chat rooms.

My first weekend in Milton Keynes since September 2017. Pink Punters has changed a lot since I was last there - the attic bar is now a swanky cocktail bar and it looks great!
It was our good friend Melissa's birthday so we had a meal and a birthday cake presentation in TGI Fridays.
We also helped Helen out for her first real outing in public too. And saw some friends I haven't seen in ages!
And the next day I had Ikea meatballs for the first time and they were delicious!

A Presentation Bowl from Thailand (Siam), 1856. The Green turban snail shell was part of the same exhibit to show one source of the mother of pearl shell comes from to create ornamental inlays like this bowl has.

Following the unveiling of the new nameplate adorning the newly painted class 66 an exchange of gifts was made featuring miniature mounted plates and exhibition display models of 66 747 and a NWT truck with Maersk container.
This portrait was taken at the Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 Spain awards ceremony (I won the 7th prize), held at the Parador de Alcalá de Henares.
After the prize giving, Diego Delso (first prize and active Wikimedia member) made an interesting presentation about Wikimedia Commons.
I took several photos of the act, but I don't think I have enough skill bouncing flash, so I got some unflattering shadows in most. This is one of the better ones (in my opinion)
I love this pixel - and use it in presentations, so I uploaded it so that I wouldn't lose it! Having a place like Flickr to hold your pics is so COOL!
...and the tooth was moving left to right and back. Funny. I mean it! :)
