While having my tea in the Urak Valley, Balochistan, I came across this beautiful presentation of cold drinks at a side hotel in the valley. This presentation of bottles is not only attractive, but soothing to the eyes.
I am not a cold drink person otherwise i would definitely have gone for one :)

Presentation by the Russians as a teaser for the 2014 Winter Games. As spectators in the arena we had no idea that the orchestra and skaters that we were seeing on screens were actually performing live in Sochi. It must have been sometime around 6 in the morning over there.
I gave a presentation this morning demonstrating several new classes I’m creating. One class will deal with gadgets, so my demo mentioned how technology changes. You can’t pack a box with any one year’s gadgets and say you’re done. The class must change and adapt over time -- and so must the box of gadgets. So my presentation included a sundial, compass, bifocals, telegraph, slide rule, flip phone, Xbox, Kindle, and Google Glasses (shown here). And I finished the whole thing off with a drone. Now THAT was fun!

As social media visionary Vanilla Ice once said, the keys to Web 2.0 success are to "Stop! Collaborate and listen!" By stopping to collaborate with and listen to our students and future students, SUNY Oswego has built an increasingly user-centered social media presence. How do we involve students in managing, creating and influencing what we do? Let me count the ways: 1. Student bloggers; 2. Interns managing the Facebook page and class of 2010 groups; 3. Twitter guides; 4. Flickr photosets; 5. YouTube videos; 6. Geosocial: i.e. FourSquare/Gowalla stops; 7. Feedback loops and focus groups.
