A pretty amazing ride belonging to a company that builds extreme duty parts for off-roaders, prerunners, show cars and trucks. They have a large line of axles, housings, third members, spindles and brakes.
I'm not sure this is the exact same model but one I looked at (and looked identical) was 46 feet overall with 18 feet living space and 18 feet garage space, both ends were heated and cooled by separate air conditioners on 50 amp service. It also had a 4000 pound liftgate to get your car or whatever into the back (2 Smart Cars would fit inside!). They call these "Toter Homes".
This is nite owl (from the minutmen - prerunners of the watchmen). Well, it's going to be his helmet, done while away on holiday.

As 2001 session was ending the Gravel Crew was putting some finishing touches on the Ford Escort ZX2 suspension and had made a few shake down test sessions at some of our favorite test locations in the desert. The Inland Prerunner society thought it would be fun to invite some rally cars out to their “Sand Blast” event at the Victorville Motocross track. We thought it to be a good idea for another test session. Our previous rendezvous with these guys were usually loose knit jumping competitions. This time to our surprise they had organized a real race event. Looking at the course we were quite nervous about the jumps. Quite all right for trucks with 24inch wheel travel, but how would our car act with the 8.5inches of wheel travel? We were in front of a very serious off-road clan with sneers and snickers at our car. A few chuckles and laughs were at hand as well, but we walked the course and plotted our theory and basically felt that this would be the ultimate test for our suspension so we let it all hang out, only what the limiting straps would allow…
Rodney Wills, team manager handed the task of driving over to Scott G. to capture it all on film, and since ScottG built ZX2 it was up to him the level of abuse he would dish out. Co-Pilot for the day was Anthony Burciaga. Rodney worked the media skills of capturing images of the car as these images would either show destruction or BIG AIR, and big air was the results with a first place in class that doubled our entry money as prize!
Afterwards, Rodney and Anthony spent about two hours working over some local dirt roads and sand washes for some extended shakedown testing as well as some much needed seat time in the car.
I love this truck. This was the first truck I bought use and with over 100k miles on the odometer. I take it everywhere. It has a 4cyl under the hood with an automatic. Don't know how act without one.
Probably could have trade it in as a clunker for a new truck. But, I'm having more fun with this truck than any of the other trucks I owned. Like I said, I love this truck and since its' used. Don't have to baby it. Like I did with my other trucks. She takes a licking but keep on giving. Hopefully it see's another 100K on the odometer.
