At some point, it may have been 1982, we thought it would be the height of hilarity to dress as preppies during a weekend of debauchery. I had to borrow a Lacoste shirt and overcome deep moral issues in order to put it on; what those may have been is lost to time.
We all also had preppie nicknames for the weekend. I know there was at least a Muffy and a Scooter, probably a Biff and a Buffy as well.
Danny, me, Mark, Barbara, Joe and Lee. Some of these people already owned preppie clothes.

Organic red bell peppers for a sweet potato and peanut chili that ended up being blisteringly hot. Of course, I won't throw out leftovers just for being too spicy so I've been taking Pepcid to pregame the chili.
In this photo you can see the cast head that replaces the original skull. Using cast heads eliminates the shrinkage issues that come along with the original bills and skulls. I have yet to "taxi" the skin over the cast head.
One of favourite Chinese New year goodie. Pineapple tart is a very short crust pastry with beautiful and sticky home-made pineapple jam.
