Does this woman seem extra pregnant? Well, anyway, for what it's worth, horizontal stripes are very slimming.
There are a lot of signs our beautiful bunny Rosa is pregnant! In a few days we will know for sure:) Cannot wait!
Today my computer will be off to our friend Raymond. After the crash last week he repaired it but all the pictures and documents on it were gone:(
Now he might have some good news for us and he is trying (with some new program he found) to get it all back and he was very postive about it! Let's keep our fingers crossed:)
Thanks Raymond!

Close up macro digital double exposures, with some red adjustments in Photoshop, of Miranda Kerr in Vogue Australia January 2011.
If I could display only one picture of myself on my desk, this would definitely be it. I'm undeniably pregnant, but well-dressed, and enjoying everything about my gender and my pregnancy to the fullest. It doesn't get much better than this!
Back then (it now seems so long ago), my bump was a bit smaller, I fit into more glamorous clothes, and I could actually get dressed up for dinner out. Yes, it was fun, and I ended up with this wonderful picture to remind me of those times. It's who I am...and how I'd like to appear every day. So "Pregnant Mandy" has become my new avatar...and she is likely to remain as such, for quite some time!
But the baby has been growing, extra pounds came on quickly, and with the few dresses I can still fit into, I just don't look this stylish any more. Dinner out has become rare, and it's limited to an occasional fast-food place (though with the heat, that's not surprising.)
The big news this week, according to my midwife, is that if I went into labor now, they wouldn't try to stop it. They'd let me labor on and meet this little girl! As of last Thursday (12/26) I've begun the cross over into "uncomfortable pregnant lady" territory. Mike has to help me get my shoes on or I can only wear slip ons. My feet are swelling up every day, so I have to keep them up. My back ACHES. My shoulders ache. My neck aches. I can't sit in the car for longer than 20 minutes without wanting to cry. All that said, I don't want Niblet making her appearance quite yet - a few more weeks for extra brain and lung development will do her good, so I'm hanging in there and reminding her daily that there is no rush to get out!
She's over 6 pounds now and I've lost a pound! What what? (Apparently it's totally normal to lose a little weight towards the end of pregnancy.
Digital double exposure converted to B&W of Miranda Kerr on the cover of Vogue Australia January 2011, with her pregnant belly on the October 2019 Marie Claire Australia magazines.
Using a macro lens & in camera double exposures, its tricky to do as my D7000 only allows 30 seconds to take each shot before the mode is cancelled (which is stupid), so focusing can be difficult, especially since it is a tiny view finder.

This photo was taken when I was pregnant with my little boy, over two years ago. These were my favorite jeans at the time, so I thought it would be fun to have a pg shot in them. I'm so glad I have this picture! I got really huge!
These girls are all good friends and are all having a baby in the same year.
Special thanks to my friend Bolti who lent me his lights and told crackers to the girls while I was fiddleling with the lights. :)
It's not the greatest time of the year to be pregnant. I certainly should have learned something about timing from my mother, who carried me into September, back in the days without air conditioning! But I didn't, and now there's nothing I can do about it. Bright side is: at least I'm due soon!
Yes, I love this cute little black maternity dress - it's lightweight, short enough to be comfortable in the heat, and one of the few dresses that still fit me. The only problem is that it accentuates my baby bump. Pants no longer fit, and nothing I wear can hide it. So, I have no choice but to waddle around all day, every day, wherever I go, following my tummy, just like other pregnant girls. We obviously have a lot (of tummy) in common...and shopping is so more fun when two (or three) of us can walk the aisles together! (It's a girl thing...)
My maternity dress simply confirms to everyone that I'm one (very) pregnant woman.
The whole exhibit has a "you know what this is about" air to it, as in, let
the tender viewer beware. But there was a special warning reserved for a
separate chamber wherein reclined this nude woman, who passed away taking
her fetus with her. At first I was irritated by the sort of sexist
squeamishness that can't regard reproduction in the context of the other
exhibits on our phyical form. Then I wondered if the mother and child dead,
flayed open, on display, was more tragic than the previous forms - more
tragic, harder to stomach. Finally I decided it was a form of goddess
worship to place this mother-to-be, glamorous, in a separate space for
selective viewing.

Actually I saw her from my scooter while driving and came to screeching halt and chased her down the alley she had entered and begged her to let me photograph her. The bicycle was lying there so I quickly put this shot together. Once I downloaded it, it didn't come out how I liked so I went back a couple of days later and tracked her down for a second try.
