I am told this fish is a pike. I saw some people looking in the water at Clare and there were lots of fish. Amongst them, laying very still, was this predator.

This jewel was buisy charging up Sunflower plants and grabbing Bordered Patch Caterpillars and hauling them back u det some bark. Amazing efficient predator !

I own several and two of them are actual movie props.

Its not a actual prop but a licensed helmet from slideshow.

Very hard to keep the lens on these fast birds of prey, didn't realise I'd also caught the poor mayfly it was going for!
My cat found herself a new perch today, sitting on top of my 4 foot tall speaker, peering out the window to the harbour below.
This girl is my best friend, yet I don't take nearly enough pictures of her. My new 50mm f/1.4D lens makes it so much easier to avoid using flash, which plays havok with her tabby markings. (Zoom in to the see the amazing detail in her fur and eye.)
We're heading to the V-E-T on Saturday, so wish us luck.
