The Decollate Snail (Rumina decollate) is a predator snail. They prey on the European Brown Snail (Helix aspersa). It is a voracious predator, and feeds readily upon common garden snails and slugs and their eggs. The snail eats plant matter as well, but the damage it causes to plants is considered minor when compared with the benefit of its predation on garden snails and other pest species of snails. Unfortunately it will also consume harmless local species of land gastropods, and beneficial annelids.
Decollate snails are tolerant of dry and cold conditions, during which they burrow deep into the soil. They are most active during the night and during rainfall.

History of the MQ-1B "Predator"
The MQ-1 "Predator" is a medium-altitude, long-endurance unmanned aerial system (UAS) that was employed primarily to collect intelligence and secondarily to engage enemy targets. Beginning its service with the Army in 1995 and later used by the U.S. Air Force, the MQ-1 was deployed in every major U.S. conflict during this period until its retirement in 2018. The MQ-1's capabilities made it uniquely qualified to conduct irregular warfare operations.
The Predator was part of a remotely piloted aircraft system. A fully operational system consisted of four aircraft, ground control station, Predator Primary Satellite Link, and spare equipment, along with operations and maintenance crews for deployed 24-hour missions. A Predator crew consisted of a pilot to control the aircraft and command the mission, an aircrew member to operate sensors and weapons, and a mission coordinator, when required.
The Predator and Hill Air Force Base
In 2004, the U.S. Air Force used the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR) to assess the Predator's ability to strike a moving target with munitions. Crew members guided the drone remotely from Indian Springs, Nevada, and struck two moving tanks with Hellfire missiles. Because of this testing, the Predator was later used in combat to engage enemy targets. The Ogden Air Logistics Complex at Hill also provided software development and sustainment in support of the MQ-1 when in active service. Extensive UAS activities continue today on the UTTR with several different services and platforms.
The MQ-18 on display first flew on 31 January 2005, and was later assigned to Indian Springs Auxiliary Field, Nevada. During its service life, this Predator took part in combat sorties in Iraq, Kuwait, and Afghanistan. After flying 28,069 hours and over 1,600 combat sorties, it retired from service in 2017 and was delivered to the Hill Aerospace Museum for display in 2020.

Took this using 2 small red LEDs. Didn't set up any actual lighting, diffusers, etc. Just some natural room lighting and LEDs for spots. Had the figure and the backdrop in my lightbox.
Blood Angels Baal Predator
The Baal Predator is a specialised variant of the Predator design. The Baals weapon load-out is far more closely suited to the close range fire fights favoured by the Blood Angels, employing twin-assault cannons to shred enemy formations. Furthermore, equipped with a turret mounted flamestrom cannon it is capable of swiftly clearing bunkers and barricades.
This box set contains one multi-part plastic Blood Angels Baal Predator. This 110-piece set includes: a twin-linked assault cannon, a flamestorm cannon, a set of heavy flamers, a set of heavy bolters and smoke launchers. Also included are a host of Blood Angel icons that allow you to further detail your miniature, and a choice of a bare head or helmeted head for the tank commander.

The Predator is our run’n’gun stability kit for the Canon C100, C300 and C500*. The fixed LCD screen of the C100 camera particularly lends itself to this compact, simple kit. It is perfect for fast paced shoots and lightweight set ups.
The Predator starts with our Gorilla Baseplate. The rest of the framework attaches via a vertical post that connects to the underside of the plate via a quick-release ratcheting lever. A tripod plate can be installed under the Gorilla Baseplate via standard ¼ 20” and 3/8 16” screw holes. The Gorilla Plate has a 15mm port on the side to attach an accessory arm like the Standard Mount for our EVF. It also has two lightweight threaded rod ports on the front. You can add rods to hold a follow focus or mattebox.
The Predator includes an adjustable gunstock on a ball joint that can settle comfortably into the shooters chest to create a solid brace. The ‘handle’ portion of the Predator is ourC100/300 Grip Relocator. The Canon removable camera grip attaches directly to our Grip Relocator handle and our exclusive cable connects to the port on your camera. Once its plugged in, users have trigger or on/off control, lens aperture control, and a programmable function button that can be set to a number of things including waveform, 1 to 1 zoom, zebras, my menu, and many more. The cable is 24" long.
C100 Users: We recommend the Predator be used with our C100 Z-finder directly on the camera LCD. Our Z-finder will magnify the screen, cut out the light, and has a diopter to adjust for any eyesight issues. It also gives the user one more point of stability.
