The pre-primary classroom at Kasimba Prinary School, Mpanda District, Katavi Region, Tanzania. With 284 students in Pre-primary (split between two classrooms) it's difficult to teach in a practical, hands-on, child-centered way. This is not the only crowded—or even the most crowded—classroom at the school. There are 2787 students in the school with 26 teachers and just 10 classrooms. Despite the crowding, Kasimba Primary School is considered among the best schools in the area, which draws even more students to the already crowded school every year.

Scrapaneers Back to School cards

This year you love writing notes to us and making cards. You often decorate a note for visitors and babysitters too.

Rotary Club of Kalyan Riverside has help to change the school environment by painting THREE class rooms of pre-primary school. Most students are from very low income family from vicinity.

Total cost for painting such three class rooms would be approx $1,600 to $2,000. Would it not be good investment for future of our 'generation next'? Come forward and help us to create better environment for such students.
