This little plaque hangs in my spare bedroom....I love it because it is a constant reminder that we should keep an open line to the Man Upstairs......
More orange sun, same day. I just liked the light on this and the background. One more to come later on.

One thing I find fascinating on my travels, especially on rare forays abroad, is looking out for local wildlife.
You can imagine my delight when I stumbled across this beautiful Praying Mantis on a mountainside in the south of France.
If we lose the Amazon, not only do we lose the home of many traditional and Indigenous communities, and the richest biodiversity on Earth - we also lose the fight against climate change.
Thanks everybody for the kind comments!
A Chinese Mantid, hanging off a twig after I relocated her from an active trail. Kittatinny Valley State Park, Andover, NJ (Focus stacked in PS)
Don't be aroused by my confession
Unless you don't give a good goddamn about redemption, I know
Christ is comin' and so am I
You would too if this sexy devil caught your eye
She'll suck you dry
And still you'll cry to be back in her bosom
To do it again
She'll make you weep
And moan and cry to be back in her bosom
To do it again
(Pray)
'Til I go blind
(Pray)
'Cause nobody ever survives
Prayin' to stay in her arms just until I can die a little longer
Saviors and saints, devils and heathens alike
She'll eat you alive
Jesus is risen, it's no surprise
Even he would martyr his mama to ride to hell between those thighs
The pressure is building at the base of my spine
If I gotta sin to see her again then I'm gonna lie, lie, lie
She'll make you cry
I'll sell my soul to be back in her bosom
Gladly now please suck me dry
And still you'll cry to be back in her bosom
To do it again
Found in my in-law's yard where they have a wonderfully unique collection of assorted odds and ends. I especially love the weathered stone sculptures that include these praying hands.

Although its an active congregation, this Methodist church in Ong, Nebraska is in dire need of a coat of paint.
Found this little fellow inside my house, so I decided to have a photo shoot :)
This guy was tilting his head every time I extended the lens barrell. Hilarious.
He was freed for his time. :)
