Tai-Chi practice. A night fooling around the "cité des sciences et de l'industrie", we heard some music near la Géode. The guy was there, under the bridge, practicing Tai-Chi and not caring about the people around him, pretty much like he was in his own sphere.

Some portraits with the Helios 44m-4, an excellent lens, gives a swirly bokeh some people don't like. I like it would, like it even more on full frame but it will have to do on the APS-C sized A6000 for now

Sketched quickly from the imagination (really just plop down the washes and let it go where it may). I'm using these to practice technique without getting "attached" to the work. I think I'll be doing quite a few of these for a while.

Taken with Samsung NX300 provided by Samsung Electronics.

Ham and cheese rocket sandwich, blueberries, carrot stars and a black cherry tomato cheese ring planet.
What I learned: It takes a LOT of blueberries to fill a 650ml box. I switched to a smaller one and left out the other planets and moon I had planned, so we're a little veggie light.
A storm was approaching and the chicks were taking turns on the rock flapping their wings in the wind.
The elder chick has been practicing to fly for about 10 days now. Today, at 82 days old he did his longest run of nearly 200 meter and did not take off. He will fly very soon.
Loons are excellent divers and have heavy bones, unlike most birds that have “hollow” bones. This is the reason they need such a long ran to get airborne.
