On a recent trip to Pier 4 with Molly MotMot, we discovered this lovely lady. She let us take pictures of her and when we were done she said "you made my day".....seriously Monica, you made ours.

backside of new mitten pattern from Spilly Jane Knits - Owl Mittens
Knitting these because I love the pattern & need the practice. (and I've photographed the backside, because the little owl is w/out a head at the moment!)
I added 2 colors, got rid of the green and swapped the color order for the second half (which btw was a twist in the mystery!)
The final clue will be given in December.
We will steek and finally be told what it is exactly we've been knitting.
The purl row is a turning row, so I'm still leaning towards a placemat or pillow?
Power knit the 2nd half so I could focus on gift knitting & test/sample work from Knit Picks.
