Th 2 olderest (of 3) baby Osprey take turns practicing flying by flapping their wings without taking off with mom watching. It had started raining (quite apparent in these photos) and when it did the wind died down and the babies started to practice.
This poor thing was left outside at the bottom of our apartment staircase...thought it'd make an interesting practice subject.

HHC 1/3 (The Old Guard) Charlie Company practices funerals on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall just off of Sheridan Avenue, March 27. Companies rotate the mission of funerals in Arlington National Cemetery and must recertify before taking the mission.
This was a practice shoot we did to get prepared for the SuperPet Expo. We used both my dogs, JoJo and Haley, Jack Russell Terriers and my friend Janet's dog, the 4 Border Collies, for models. With Janet's help we set up some great shots and had a lot of fun.

These are my first practice girls. Suzi, your video really helped me with the eyes. I clearly need to work on the shading. I am going to try some different paper. This paper seems a little to slick.
