On the train on the way to the races and this lovely dressed lady was carrying her items to the races in a supermaket safeway shopping bag...

Practical Truths includes the work of Jacob Cartwright & Nick Jordan, Jenna Collins, G. Leddington, Olivia Plender and Ben Rivers whose work is represented in film, sculpture and photography. The show explores issues around methods of documentation that attempt to grasp the dichotomy of the individual and the universal revealing various truths about human culture. The works in Practical Truths often use narratives that focus on individuals or communities that sit uncomfortably with the demands of conventional living and thereby convey a timeless sentiment that is neither defined within the present-day nor within a specific historic decade.

And voila! - the job is done. And with a clear conscience you should replace the offending CDs in the record collection (properly misplaced in order to ruin your alphabetical system, just as your wife would do). Next time she plays the now really unplayable disks, you can now say your child did the damage and be speaking the truth.

This week we where supposed to take pictures using shadows. Here I have used the shadows from a tree on a lawn. The sun was not that stong this day, so it was hard to get a clear shadow. But I am satisfied with the result..
Though this blog project I am quite happy with the results of my photos. I did not know that the pictures we were suppose to post was going to be from the topics from practical. I overall have been posting a picture every week, but it may not have been relevant to theme of the week.. Therefore, I had to add some of the pictures I had taken in the previous practicals in the end of the blog.
From June 2006. They got my name wrong four times, my URL wrong, and basically it was a fucking let-down. They don't exist any more though.
