Shot was taken in ruins of an old Christian church, remembering times back to XVI century. It was pretty surprising to find this place, about 5minutes from my house, open for first time since long, with surface thru main nave covered with colourful whirligigs.
Playing around at the lake today, then applying some heavy post processing. Shots taken with my 85mm f/1.8 lens.
I shot this using a WhiBal card under undesirable environment. There was no flash and AWB was used. The tungsten bulb had a weird effect on the sensor giving the picture a weird color cast...
There are few out there with the skill of Lance Stevenson. Charlotte Hornets herocially defeated the New York Knicks.
Near Ames, CO.
Actually 2 shots stacked. 1 with the prime lens cutaway superimposed over the lensbaby. Normally I don't like compositions much, but neiher of these were good enough alone.
Taken at Studio4Fun on St-Hubert Street, Montreal.
Strobist info: 540ez at 1/128th 10ft above the ground, slightly behind to provide shine on the hair, SB28 through umbrella on the right and 430ex strait on the left.
An old photo processed in Lightroom 2.0 Beta. The new Lightroom is going to be very cool.

I decided to dial back the softening a fair bit. Hopefully, the car lines will be better in this one. Still not sure what else can be done with the image though.
post-processed photography done in summer 2007 near our house in france.
i am thinking about the words of a flickr friend - take care.
it coud be a flowery phrase, but it´s worth to think a little bit more about it. a little mmcarlos is sitting on my head and observing me most of the time and give me time to time a response. but sometimes i have to look if he really watches.
Many thanks to black_cat_merlin who kindly let me do a bit of PP on one of his excellent shots.
I commented that it may need a bit of rotation and colour tweaks, and here's what I was talking about! I was just looking for subtle changes.
From this shot I did the following in GIMP:
* Rotated 0.75degrees clockwise
* Cropped from position 14x20 to a size of 2980x1960 (remove the edges after rotate)
* Did a Colour Enhance (Colours -> Auto -> Colour Enhance)
I played with Tone Mapping in GIMP to bring out a bit more in the clouds, but it really exaggerated some JPEG artefacts in the silhouette of the hills on the horizon and the grass in the foreground. I suppose I could have just applied Tone Mapping to the sky and the water using selections and layering .
Thanks again black_cat_merlin!
I take up your challenge, Szefi www.flickr.com/photos/szefi/3188539372/ Here's your picture in my version! Please, let me know what you think of it. I'm very keen on learning new things about Photoshop and enjoyed working on your shot. By the way, where did you take it?
