I did a little post processing on an old shot of a homeless guy that my gf and I met while walking on the levee in BR, LA.
17 photographers and 12 models in Studio4Fun on St-Hubert for a Strobist meeting.
Strobist info: 540ez high above behind model, sb28 through umbrella right and 430ex on left
We came home one evening and saw this frog on our concrete wall. My brother took this shot using my camera. The concrete wall was a bit distracting to the image so I isolated the frog then blurred the background.
This was a major edit for me. I had to add the background and border and text. I like the outcome though.

Actually I really liked the delicate and artisty moderate colors of the previous version but it didn't really catch the attention.

Sony a100 camera and minolta 100mm macro was used.

The image on the left was sharpened with Photoshop's un-sharp mask (USM) using 150%, .5 pixels.
The image on the right was sharpened by
1) creating a duplicate layer
2) setting it to overlay
3) Run the high-pass filter (filters > other > high pass) with a setting of 5px.
4) Sharpening the high-pass layer with the USM settings above.

Strobist info: Sunlight from sundown left of camera, shoothrough umbrella with SB26 triggered by Cactus at 1/4 power from camera right. Taken outdoor in a park against the clouded sky.

Playing around at the lake today, then applying some heavy post processing. Shots taken with my 85mm f/1.8 lens.
0057 Playing with PS HDR toning and gradient map. Trying to separate myself from the average shooter with post processing. Any and all critique is welcome!
