We're starting to get out of "baby bump" territory pretty quick around here, but I still thought this shot (and its title) was adorable and fitting.
Today was a long day. Down in Tucson we stood for two and a half hours with thousands of other people waiting for the funeral procession so we could pay our respects to Christina Green. I didn't bring my camera because it was requested that there was no media presence...I'm sure you know how that ended up; everyone had a camera. Oh well, I'm glad I didn't since I wasn't supposed to. Anyway, here's the picture I took on the way down.
His workshop is right down the street from my parents house so my Mom and I stopped by today to see the sculptures up close and take a few pictures with my new lens I got for Christmas... some really neat stuff... wish he was around to meet and talk to. Maybe next visit. Someone did leave a post-it-note on the door though, which was cute.

Or: Why I do Iron Photographer in the middle of the night.
The dangers of doing IP in broad daylight are very real and include, as seen here, attack by gun-wielding clone troopers. Or their helmets.
For Iron Photographer 94:
1 - office supplies
2 - ice
3 - high grain (or noise) - ISO1600 and not enough.
"Morning Shock"
"Billy woke up to a shock this morning. No hands!"
A quickie post-it/sticky highlighter and ink drawing. The character of Billy ended up with no hands. There was no reason behind this, it just happened and then this little story developed in my head about it.
Medium:
Pink Highlighter marker
Faber Castell inks
Drawn on sticky/post-it note

I spend Monday and Wednesday nights at my friend Alex's apartment. This was one of the rare times when she wasn't going to be there overnight. Her roommate let me in, though, and I saw that Alex had left me this note on the table. She's so sweet. :D

Lovely Japanese Goodies
We went to see our Japanese friend called Tomoo today. He was just passing through but we had a nice chat over lunch in London. He was very kind and brought us some lovely Japanese goodies as a present! Here you can see me with the rice crackers (they look yummy), a pretty post-it pad (useful for writing the shopping list on), some fancy cocktail sticks (easy to stab that sausage now!) and a kit to make robots from paper pipes - that sounds very cool! Aren't we lucky?!

i was cleaning my room a bit today and came across this post-it note i must've written awhile ago. i have no idea when though -- i don't normally date anything i write. it makes me wonder who it's about.
p.s. - if you can't read my chicken scratch, it says "we are moments of the most impure kind, and being blind, absolutely blind to the truth that only lies before us."
