“I was packing for the festival and I don’t know what I packed, I think I just packed some crayons and a wooden spoon”
At the movie set for the old (relatively speaking) Japanese movie whose title (very roughly) translates to "Yellow Handkerchief." Part of the movie was set in and filmed in Yubari, Hokkaido, and the set is maintained in the same condition as it was back then and is a popular tourist destination. One of the rooms is coated (literally) with yellow Post-it papers with messages from fans. Close-up of the yellow papers on the ceiling.
I woke up with a horrible stomach bug yesterday morning (Wednesday). Oddly enough, the worst symptom isn't the vomiting. I can handle vomiting. I've been pregnant twice and had morning sickness both times. With my first pregnancy, I was sick every morning and sometimes in the afternoon AND evening up until I gave birth. With my second pregnancy I was sick during the first trimester, and again during the third.
Anyway, the worst part of this particular stomach bug was the dizziness! I could barely lift my head without the room spinning.
Needless to say, it took all of my energy and willpower to drag my sick ass out of bed and into the living room for a VERY quick 365 photo.
How's that for commitment? ;)

A couple of weeks ago on ABC World News, I saw a report on anger and stress management. The crux was to ask yourself these three questions (and just in case you can't read my handwriting): Is this important? Is it reasonable for me to be angry? Can I modify or change the situation? A "no" to any of these should flow-chart you out of bad feelings, or at least diffuse it a bit.
I thought this was such good advice, I put a post-it note on my computer monitor or perhaps watching Yahoo! videos like "Baby doesn't like hairspray" or "Cat rocks to subwoofer" (upper right corner) would do the trick!
