this is for lesson 11, post processing, these are not my images!

1. River, I tweaked the exposure a bit, making it a bit kinder on the eyes and also cropped the picture,

2. Leaf, there were 2 black spots on it, and I used the spot healing brush to remove it,

3. Spider web, we were to get creative on this one, so I added a cute little spider and named it Charlotte,

I am a bit behind on my assignments due to my lap top being plagued by malware so I will be posting lots of pictures this week, so bare with me, things will get back to normal soon! No need to comment, I know I am behind on commenting so no rush on commenting my photos!

I was approached by a film company because they wanted to use my Delica while shooting a short film set in the near future.

They asked me to make it look as 'Post Apocalyptic' as possible. I did my best!

Fliming took place in South London on an abandoned/dereclict housing estate. A massive place with 2000+ apartments all empty. Quite eery!

I took these shots just after filming had finished and the crew had gone home. It made for a nice setting.

....yeah. lighting could've been better.

In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, a wanderer has built a shack for protection.

I'm proud to present the Emiliacouture Spring 2021 ready to wear capsule collection: "Post Apocalypse".

The Post Apocalypse athleisure garments are all about movement and dancing around the apartment while no one is watching. This Issey Miyake inspired collection of lounge wear is made out of Japanese pleated cotton blend with PVC stripes. The soft and stiff stripes give the fabric a unique shapeability that is really fun to play around with.

All items are OOAK and fit most 16" dolls (photographed here on Inamorata 3.0). They are sold as mix-an-match items at my store:

The background wall elements are made by Julia Gartung and painted by me using a sponge technique. The leather lounge that is in some pics is also commissioned from Julia.

It's been so long since I've actually posted any new jewellery here. So this post will more than make up for it with 9 pictures of ...wait for it...the same necklace lol. I thought I'd give you fair warning, but I am in the mood for a bit of self indulgence today

The piece in question is the latest in my Coral Reef Necklace series, which are Mermaid Amulet necklaces, inspired by rock pools and coral reefs. The Labradorite gemstones, are so mystical, in the way that they flash different colours, when viewed from every angle, and these flashes are emitted from varying layers within the gemstone. They reminded me of rock pools of water, sitting within the coral landscape.

This gemstone is huge!! and sculpting around it, and setting it drew blood, sweat and tears this week. All this effort is in aid of the jewellery show I'll be exhibiting at in 6 weeks time

Anyway, I finished it, and woke up to a day when Steve Job died, and Sir Mervyn King (Bank of England) declared that this is the worst financial crisis E V E R ...bleakest of bleak days. Hence the need for over indulgence, so without further ado, here are all the pics. Enjoy!!!

exploring the old abandoned Chicago Post office was fun, This was the biggest and most visible abandoned building in Chicago/ There is work now being done inside for high end retail and business space. So much machinery and cool conveyor equipment was left behind

The Jay Heritage Center (JHC) hosted its annual Fall Family Festival on Sunday, September 23rd celebrating American culture and traditions. Highlights included costumed tours of the Jay Mansion along with activities for all ages.

The event was organized by JHC's Young Preservationists, a group of parents committed to the adaptive reuse of John Jay's landmark home as a community learning center for children and adults, a place furnished with lively ideas and people, not just furniture. The fresh vision of these volunteers had great resonance last year as over 800 people showed up to applaud their efforts while munching on crisp autumn apples and sipping cider. Activities included parents and kids painting pumpkins and coring apples. The Jay estate was once itself a working farm with plentiful crops and gardens. Farmer's market offerings of pumpkin muffins and homemade jams on hand thanks to Meredith's Bread from Kingston while sweet cravings were satisfied by frosty organic Go-Go Pops from Cold Spring Harbor.

The place was filled with butterflies - vivid butterfly painted faces and balloon animals to take home courtesy of James Daniels.

Bruce Macdonald of Ashwood Restoration opened up his preservation workshop and explained the challenges involved in restoring the mansion's front door. Visitors could also see our latest exhibit on NY Genealogy and found out if they were related to some of NY's Founding Families including the Stuyvesants, Van Cortlandts, Jays, and more!

And at the 1907 Carriage House, families participated in an archaeaolgy dig and saw a sustainable dollhouse. But many parents and grandparents were also just content to sit in wicker rockers on the veranda to watch their children play and drink in the unequalled view of New York State's oldest man-managed meadow a vista famously dubbed "a time funnel" to the past.

The event was part of the Hudson River Valley Ramble weekend which celebrates American heritage in New York State.
