Or I think the title could be "when nature calls!" Yes, from the little things to the unusual, we eventually see them all! LOL This toilet is sitting on a rock wall, probably built in the pre-civil war era. If you look close you can see what appears to be the bottom of a tennis shoe. So, I guess this means the toilet is posted against users and don't even think about it or... what ? You get flushed? Mmmm

Northern Flicker on fence post

Spring Mountain Ranch, Las Vegas

This is one of her baskets from home with a makeshift cover to give some warmth in the night.

What an afternoon! We did a lovely circular drive around the Lake District, and luckily I chose to do it an anti-clockwise direction. Our last stop was Derwentwater (at Keswick) where there was a glorious low-hanging mist - had we gone there first, earlier in the day, we would've seen nothing, as the town had been covered in thick fog which only lifted as the sun began to set.

Getting missy up Friday VERY early, and making HEr report for maid service. Cleaning up extreme messes in the homes (and especially kitchens!) of two client houses after Thanksgiving day. I was so overly generous giving her Thursday off!!

Complete series now on my blog.

Enjoy!

Hey guys! Just a heads up that I am going to be missing from action here in flickr for the next few days. I'm going on a photography trip that I'm super excited for. I'll keep to the location a surprise until you see the images. I'll catch up as soon as I can. Until then enjoy this lovely field that was a happy discovery tucked away in my lightroom catalog from April.

Sunset reflected in the window of Gotts Island post office

“ I’m walking alone through this isolated wasteland. Alone. Only me and the loneliness. A G-36, a MP3 player and a pair of mags: all I got.

Two weeks since that fucking day ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=2z7D4eRD6Cs ) . We were ten and now… God, it was awful. They appeared from nowhere, surprising us. We hadn’t time enough to react. All we could do was keeping the finger on the trigger and shooting them. It wasn’t enough. For each one we killed, two more arrived. Running, hiding and shooting we were falling. My mates shouted and I couldn’t do anything, I was impotent. One of them reached me; a pretty scar from it was given to me.

Now I’m listening to music, searching for a scope or a silencer, or whatever useful thing I can find. ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VlEdZyJMjU )

One moment….what the hell is that noise….?

Fuck…

Seems to be a difficult time in 3, 2, 1…”

It may seem redundant to post a post, yet this post has personality!

This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera and a Kowa 1:2.8/85mm lens with a Kowa L39•3C(UV) ø67 filter using CineStill 50D film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Glass tree sculpture. Jeannette Krohn.

artist's brief: Post-Tree Museum was both a testament to the original 'Big Scrub' forests of the Northern Rivers area of New South Wales, the white pastoralists who came after the timber getters and the change in understanding of the significance of rainforest today. Now 10 years later and the forests of the world are in a much. more precarious position. Therefore this is made of glass.

This young starling has chosen as his singing post the horse chestnut next to the gate onto the yard at home. Very nice of him I'm sure - but if he doesn't sing something a little less monotonous he's being evicted! ;D
