I came up with this idea to portray what a person sees through their own eyes about their future and their dreams. Personally for myself I would love to travel overseas to Africa again and be with the some of the people that have been extremely influential to me. I decided to incorporate some text from the journal I kept while in Africa, as well as some plane tickets and other items I collected while I was there as a reminder of my experience.

SO today I almost lost me shit, had a full on panic attack and wanted to kill somebody. Why? Because when I went to put my memory card in my camera it wouldn't lock in! I freaked out and Anda had to calm me down! See that tiny little piece of plastic next to my POS memory card? That broke off inside of my camera! After using canned air, a paperclip and some brute force it finally jostled loose and I feel whole again!

The event was what you’d expect: A giant yard sales with almost every possible item for sale.
At several points during the day, motorists attempting to enter the park were stacked up all the way to Highway 31. Nonetheless, traffic was well behaved with no incidents. Everything ran smoothly as thousands of people made their way into the park throughout the day.
The Spring Yard Sale originally came about to help both city and county residents who wished to have garage and yard sales of their own, but for a variety of reasons, could not.
Marketing Director of Cullman County Parks Sara Teichmiller explained it this way:
“Inside the city limits, people have to apply for a permit hold to these sales on their own property. It is a hassle for people to do that. Out in the county, attracting foot traffic into a personal sales event is next to impossible. So … we decide to eliminate all those challenges and create a safe, permit-free, well-marketed Yard Sale event that everyone – vendors and citizens alike – can attend.”
