The tripod enables people to stand over the structure to push down on the poles between the uprights. It will then have a role for the middle
positioned, leveled, and plumbed. It rained somewhat - hence the moat-like effect at the base. As far as I could tell it did not take to floating away... the only plus I can offer from an otherwise gloomy outlook was that the ponded water confirmed that the base of the pod form work was level!

my chubby boy - 16 pounds....ok, the vet had told me to help him to lose weight...but how am i going to do that with two cats? i need to start feeding with some fiber low fat dry food.
Life has gotten in the way in the last week or so. Have not used the camera much.
But this morning my days are starting to look better. Spring is coming because my yellow shafted northern flicker came to visit. I am so excited. He just made my morning. I got so many photos of him and he stayed on the bird feeder post for so long before he started to eat. I was so excited and I hope you enjoy the photos. ;) ;)

Beautifully positioned on the north coast of Cornwall between the Newquay beaches and Watergate Bay sits Porth Beach, a lovely sandy beach popular with families due to its expanse of golden sands, making it ideal for children to play and build sandcastles.
Set in a deep inlet, Porth is a narrow beach with gently sloping sand. The long tidal drop reveals many beautiful rock pools and some fascinating sea life; in addition, due to its position being protected by headlands on both sides, it is very sheltered.
There is a narrow footbridge from the beach where visitors can access Porth Island on which lies Trevelgue Head, an impressive ancient cliff fort and settlement. Across the road from the beach you will find several cafes and a pub.
