I mounted an old Nikkor 50mm f1.4 manual lens on Canon 6D for this bokeh, no photoshop.

Here is beautiful Emilita, this model''''s real name is Emily, but I already have one Emily portfolio so I''''m using her nickname, in a simple, classic portrait where she is posing as a good model. I cropped this closeup and turned up the lighting and adjusted with the photoshop. I have increased the contrast and caught the front of her face really well. The lighting captures the beauty of her face and bounces off her profile while she looks to the camera. She really is sexy and I have many more shots to upload. I just received three new muslin backdrops and had the opportunity to utilize two of them. I liked to catch the beauty of her eyes. In this one I wanted to focus on the face.
Henry P. Wigglebottoms- R.I.P. (left) and Samuel T. Pumperdink (aka Sammy)- R.I.P.- (right) relaxing together in their cardboard and newspaper hut. They were not posed like this by me- they lay down next to each other of their own choice. It was so cute and absolutely RARE, I just had to capture the moment. Normally they both hide at opposite ends of their cage.

One of our cats, Smokey, staring intently at the squirrel that taunts her from our sun room.
Smokey started this whole take a cat portrait session by standing like a sphinx in the sunlight that was streaming through the windows. As soon as I noticed her pose, I had to get it. I grabbed my phone and took a couple of photographs before I went to get my "real" camera. I did that because I knew that I might not get a better chance at that pose. I was right.
As soon as I moved, Smokey moved. I got the camera and set up, then the wait was on. Try as I might to get her back near that position, it wasn't going to happen. Smokey did get near to the light, but she became entranced by my sandals, that can be partially seen here. She rubs up against them, tosses them around, tries to crawl through them. I think it's the smell of my feet on them that attracts her. Really.
I was happy when the squirrel caught her eye. Not the perfect sphinx pose, but better than rubbing herself on my sandals.

So I did a trade with Jolene aka dingo girl of "dingo girl's den"

In return for a spider baby I received this beautiful circus monkey. I will take more photos to show the awesome fabric used and all the details...but he was just screeching to be photographed with Cleo in her Dorothy Costume (made by me).
She carried him around all evening, the pair of them had a bunch of Halloween fun!
We love him, he is soft and cuddly, has wired poseable ears and tail and as with all of Jolenes toys he is bursting with personality.

We got an informal contest going in Idaho this summer to see who could get the best chipmunk picture. This was my best shot. 16AUG08.
My friend (Jump for) Joy taking a picture of me taking a picture of Charlie. He doesn't know who is taking a picture of him but he does know there could be a treat in it for him, hence his best pose. Ears back, chest forward, and think of doggy drops.
Things I am happy with:
The size--just shy of 4" tall, not including the ears.
The round pudgy belly
Head to belly ratio
Poseable ears
Fluffy pom-pom tail.
Things I am not happy with:
The ear shape needs to be tweaked a tiny bit.
The face--I will use little black beads next time, I think.
The paws--I'm ALMOST happy with the front paws, but I HATE the back paws/feet.
