There were two pools at the hotel; this one was a family-type one with waterslide, while the other served meals and drinks and played music.
This one was near our room, in fact this photo was taken from outside our door

A late start for work allowed me time to do a quick dawn shoot at the much photographed North Curl Curl pool. I don't shoot pools very often but I wanted some foreground interest against what I knew was going to be fairly dark skies. Autumn in Sydney often presents some interesting sunrise clouds and this morning was no exception.

Recently, I was contacted by a client to provide them with some beauty shots of our community here in Buena Park. This is the pool and clubhouse area alongside a man-man lake at a gated community called Lakeside, located in the North-East corner of Buena Park near Fullerton Airport. Lakeside is a gorgeous neighborhood...it is impossible to tell that this community was redeveloped from a refinery that used to sit on this spot...
This photo was taken about 30 minutes after sunset on a gorgeous clear evening after a hot and windy day in Southern California.
