The Vessel is a structure and landmark which was built as part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project in Manhattan.
Drawn from a poolside sun-lounger. There's more here: www.james-hobbs.co.uk/2016/08/in-colours-of-italy.html
This mirror frame was commissioned by my neighbours daughter, Michelle who owns Poolside Swim School.
Michelle requested a pictorial frame including a waterfall and bull-rushes.
She left the design details up to me.
Had a bit of fun with this one, I know a few out there aren't fans of this kind of B&W/Colour mix, but I quite like it on this shot.

It was here and by this pool that a cat and mouse game played out but this time an Iguana replaced the part of the mouse. It was humorous when the Iguana chose a baseball cat to hide under. It had been left on the flooring and offered a momentary refuge for the Iguana. Suffice it to say, the Iguana survived and the entertainment was worth the price of admission.
