Opal Pool in the Midway geyser basin is one of many geothermal hot springs in the Yellowstone National Park Caldera. Water heated beneath the ground to near boiling surfaces in these springs under low pressure, creating a clear pool. In other areas it arises as geysers or mudpots. The bright colors around the springs are from bacterial action. Opal Pool actually does erupt occasionally as a geyser, but is unpredictable.

Beautiful Image of Ender Falls. I was around this location for a different shoot and when that didn't pay out I turned to this location. I'm glad I did ...
The falls weren't as fierce, but nonetheless, they were still beautiful.
The SLSNSW Pool Rescue Championships is fast gaining reputation as one of the biggest and best pool rescue events on the Surf Sports calendar. Each year, the event grows in numbers and each year NSW are developing more elite athletes that are going on to represent their country in International pool rescue events.
A dark clear pool on the East side of the Island of Harris. When I photographed this in 2016 I was struck by the contrast of the bright colours of the plants against the almost black water. It has had a little impressionist alchemy today.

I'm back at a familiar place: the garden and pool at the monthly T-girl party that I always visit. It's not that warm today so all other girls are indoors but it's still nice to go outside, get some fresh air and make some nice Flickr pixies.
he had no fear and wanted to swim away the whole time... he even floated on his back for a little while!
And lots of splashing!
Devil's Pool is a small (about 10x10ft) area of relatively calm water just at the edge of the Victoria Falls. I didn't know anything about it before going to Zambia. And when I knew about it, I had to have the experience.
It was one of the most awe inspiring experience ever! Imagine, only few ft away is 110 meter drop. Imagine all the roars and thunders of the falls. Imagine swimming there. Imagine the pull towards the edge.
(I had to sign a paper stating that I was totally aware of the danger to life and they were not responsible for anything)

One of my favourite 35mm sensors ever; the Nikon D810. Shot at ISO 400, the files coming off of this thing are gorgeous, over a decade later.
