A pool at Yellowstone National Park. A beautiful pool, that apparently has lost some of its beauty secondary to people tossing coins into the pool. God sent His Son to save us, I hope we never forget that gift!! Thanks for stopping by and God Bless!!
Champagne Pool is a prominent geothermal feature within the Waiotapu geothermal area in the North Island of New Zealand. The terrestrial hot spring is located about 30 km southeast of Rotorua and about 50 km northeast of Taupo. The name Champagne Pool is derived from the abundant efflux of carbon dioxide (CO2), similar to a glass of bubbling champagne. The hot spring was formed 900 years ago by a hydrothermal eruption. Its crater is around 65 m (213 ft) in diameter with a maximum depth of approximately 62 m (203 ft) and is filled with an estimated volume of 50,000 m3 (1,800,000 cu ft) of geothermal fluid.

AT THE POOL
Happiness was a day at a pool
in the grass ringed round
with trees up to the sky
here I was god’s and my
grandpa’s lad – both died,
happiness is dangerous
in the evening the pool has lain down
so mirror-smooth that sky, trees and grass
repeat themselves below the ground
fear and longing both ask me
to come back

One of the many geothermal jewels in Yellowstone's West Thumb Geyser Basin. Abyss is the deepest pool known in Yellowstone and received its name for its abyss-like depth.
West Thumb Geyser Basin is one of the smallest geyser basins in Yellowstone yet its location along the shore of Yellow-stone Lake ranks it as the most scenic.
One of the deeper hot springs in the park, Abyss Pool descends to 53 feet (16 meters). It varies from turquoise blue to emerald green to various shades of brown.
Hope your week is off to a great start!
Angouries fresh water Blue Pool was once a rock quarry that supplied rock to build the Yamba breakwall, now a popular swimming hole.

Happiness consists in activity; such as the constitution of our nature; it is a running stream, and not a stagnant pool.

Walking tracks in the mid mountains are generally not as strenuous as those in the upper mountains. Try the gentle walks of South Hazelbrook where for over a hundred and fifteen years European walkers and nature lovers have been inspired by the majestic scenery of Terrace Falls Reserve. Here you will find a historic and complex layout of walking tracks.
Thoughtful walkers will appreciate the effort that went into creating the beautiful stone steps and gently-sloping paths that give access into this wonderland of tumbling waters, sandy ‘beaches’, still pools, peaceful rainforests, and strange rocks.
The old track layout had eight bridges providing easy access over Terrace Falls and Bedford Creeks at various points. All have been lost through floods or bushfires, but the watchful eye can spot remains at creek crossings.

A natural pool at a cove just south of Sepoc Point and Beach (visible in the right background) in Maricaban Island, Tingloy, Batangas. The 4 coves to the south of the latter is sometimes called Apat na Lagusan.
Kiros absolutely loves playing in the pool. All three cubs love it but Amari the older cub is afraid of water and will sit near the pool and hiss at it.
It is so funny thinking lions could be afraid of anything but I have learned that although they are brave and courageous they are also, timid, cautious and shit scared of some things.
