Polychrome Mountain, taken from Sable Pass.
It is called polychrome as the rock is very colorful. It is an intrusion of basalt and rhyolite and has lots of iron in it.
You may recall that rhyolite is the same rock as the area around Yellowstone.
Of course in this shot, it's all white from the first winter snow.
Behind this spectacular polychrome facade lay the Everard Printing Works at 37 Broad Street. Built in 1900-01 with a ceramic facade designed by William Neatby and manufactured by Doulton to celebrate Victorian pride in the craft of printing. The printing works closed in 1967 and the building narrowly escaped demolition. It is now II* listed.

No is a traditional Japanese dance drama with a poetic text that is sung to the accompaniment of three drums and a flute. All the actors are male. The costumes are heavy and stiff with emphatic designs that suit the slow, deliberate movements of a No performance. This type of robe is known as atsuita and would probably have been worn by an actor playing a male role.

The brick building rises from a rusticated sandstone plinth which provides a flat base for the building as Houldsworth Street falls away in a westerly direction.
Seven bays with a two bay attic gable front onto Elliot Street forming the east elevation. The gable originally had a chimney rising from the top. The corner is turned with a curve rather than angle with the main pedestrian entrance exactly on the corner atop two steps. A first floor window in the curve above the main door faces north-east. The north elevation onto Houldsworth Street is flat with 12 bays marching westwards. The roof above is slated with numerous rooflights on the pitches.
