"Buzz buzz buzz... sting sting STING!" It's always a little unnerving when you see one of these nests pop up on your deck or near your door way.

As soon as I saw these C3PO polybags I was on a mission to get one.
Love the printing on the Arms & Legs.

Well...this guy...Actually he wasn't that bad to make, it was more of how many different versions of him it took. I wanted to make him after re-watching Winter Soldier, and seeing the new Civil War trailer. Anyway onto the fig.
His head is the one from the Polybag from last summer. I just painted some more around it, to make it look like it covers his mouth.
His torso is fully painted by me. Thankfully, there were a lot of reference photos, so I could make it accurate (*cough* *cough* *MGF* *cough*). His arm is chrome, plastic silver color. Idk what it's called, cause I pulled it off one of the Ultron figs. The star is painted by me.
His legs are Death Star Trooper legs, that were modified. He wears black boots, so I added grey outlining to show it. Some extra detail added to the belt.
Anyway I think he turned out really great! One of my best, next to Superman. I've got some other stuff I'm working on, I just need parts. So lookout for it :)
Let me know what you think!
Adiós!

Hey everybody, it's Alex here, today I'm doing a quick review of the Edna Mode polybag😉
So, I already have this polybag who is supposed to coming this summer, the design for this minifig is simple the legs and the arms are plain😕
Maybe this is not one of the best polybag but the minifig is good, I hope there will be a Frozone polybag

I had the pleasure of doing the cover shot for Hispabrick Magazine (issue22).
So I decided to try something different from my usual shots, and I've been wanting to do a shot featuring all my minifigs for a while now.
The only issue of doing something like this is the aftermath. Sorting out the minifigures(by themes, Collectors series etc) it took me ages and something I was putting off for weeks, especially as quite few of them had their hair/hat fall off.
However since this shot was taken I've probably got another 60+ minfigs (and after tidying up found a boat load of unopened polybags with figures).
While a wild impossible race to get Wolfpack Beastmaster before scalpers is going on in my city, I think it's a good time to discuss insane Lego prices on a secondary market. :)
There are some very cool rare characters and sets which a lot of people would like to have, but over time it becomes impossible to obtain them, because the price skyrockets. One and a half year ago, when I needed a lot of money for a serious reason, I sold my second Revan, still sealed, for a price higher than I got for selling sealed 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay. I'm not quite complaining, it really helped me back then. For the curious, now the minimum price for a sealed polybag on BrickLink is around $274 (€265). But just imagine, a one (1) minifigure with the price higher than a set with 2545 pieces! How many people would never be able to get a beloved character in their collection because of the price? :(
There are other rare characters I need to find, they don't cost that much, but their prices are still insane. And the aforementioned Beastmaster was already sold out in shops in a first few hours (somewhere even right in the first minutes) after the new series has dropped, and the scalpers want a price x2 higher, which is quite a problem when you need a large pack of wolves like I do...
Bloggers who create lists like "the sets you can invest your money in to sell later" are also part of the problem. This is a fun hobby, it should be affordable, stop making it your next investing project!
Sorry, I couldn't make the scales look fancy enough for skilled builders (don't have certain parts), I just wanted it to be functional to convey the message. :)

Huge thanks to Sullivan R. for the edit!
I'm a bit surprised I didn't get to see more "recolor MOCs" of the nifty R2-D2 model from a while ago.
There's a clever Francesco version made by Jens Ohrndorf but that's it.
My original build for Brickvention 2017, i decided to scale down my plans and make it in the format of my Jabba's Palace Moc (Where a bunch of different rooms and scenes from one location are joined together with different timestamps), and it's a format i'll use again. This was mainly something to kill time in the mornings or nights during the holidays. I really wanted to put the scar on Snoke's head, i was going to use the sticker from the Rocket Raccoon Polybag but i couldn't find it and didn't want to sharpie an expensive and useful piece (His dome head). I absolutely loved how the Snowspeeder turned out too. Let me know what you guys think!
Built for the Star Wars Olympics at Imperium der Steine.
The task was to build a scene on 32x32 including one of the polybag-figs. My build shows the first scene of Episode I, using the TC-14 minifigure.
I finished this a while ago surprisingly, but was too lazy to post it until now. I made this after seeing Daring Customs' and Jerdfigs' versions and was heavily inspired by them.
The hair is the old Superman hair with the curl cut off and the strands sculpted on and painted.
The face is the one from the Elf Archer from that Hobbit polybag, with facial hair painted on.
The cape was actually from a purist Doctor Strange I made a couple of years ago, but trimmed a bit to fit this figure better.
The robes are cut from a lego pirate ship sail I got from Dylan. Originally the wrinkles were just in black, but I thought blue highlights would look good with the black. I like them a lot.
The belts is electrical tape. This probably bares the most similarities with Jerdfigs' version. The slingring and other little bits are sculpted out of procreate.
The time spell is cut from the plastic box procreate comes in. The energy whip is from a lego antennae piece.
I took a couple of artistic liberties with this figure. One of which was not adding the wraps to his forearms and ankles. I think it looks better without them.
I worked really hard on this, so I'd love to hear what you have to say!
My second and final entry into Brickset's Build a Polybag Competition. This polybag would include:
-1 Blurrg build
-1 Kuiil Minifigure
-1 Baby Yoda figure
-1 pouch accessory
-1 pole accessory
*NOT A REAL SET*
35 Pieces total
I was limited by the piece count restrictions, so I had to get creative. I hope you enjoyed :))

“An ancient armor, reborn in the flames. The fiery spirit known as Qeruum posessed it as an anchor into this world, melting through it and filling the empty hull with pure elemental energy.”
This is an actually new 2016 MoC! I finished it this year though the initial bulding process started in 2015, when we got the transparent orange mask in the polybag.

This is a colour-swap and Mod of Lego's fantastic 76031 Hulkbuster.
I bought this set for my kids when it came out and I've always admired the way it captures the stance and feel of the Hulkbuster in such a simple and efficient manner.
When the R2-D2 Polybag came out I couldn't help but feel that this was a mash-up that needed to happen!
He stands a touch over half the height of my other mechs but I think he fits right in with this motley crew haha!
I tried to get this ready by the end of Mech-tober but ran out of time.
I had a lot of fun building this guy and I hope you like it!
A static view of Storm's tornado as she fights off an imposing Sentinel. In this image you can see the tornado which moves via Power Functions, the chain-lightning technique I've developed, and destroyed buildings which utilize door frames--that is a staple of the layout, and it not only greatly enhances the apocalyptic atmosphere, but allows full viewing of all the more interesting bits at the same time.

There's only one more day until Brickworld, and I'm content with what I've built. There's nothing more I can do...well still take pictures...kinda blew most of the weekend ignoring that--but tomorrow night! Tomorrow night I will finish taking pictures.
I was having trouble with backgrounds, since I wanted everything to have a black background--but that really is just not working out. I do have one acceptable Sentinel black background picture that I was perhaps going to show today, but I think I want to wait until tomorrow to see if I can retake that picture with a better version. You can see the Sentinel just fine, but not Kitty so well. Either way there'll be Sentinels online tomorrow. Anyways, I'm leaning towards Friday as the main upload day for Bricks of Days Past.

I'm super excited to see everyone at Brickworld! Make sure to come up and say hi if you're going to be there! It's such a great experience to meet people face to face, especially those people who've been your friends online for years. Plus I have some polybags I'll be giving away like penny candy.

Apart from a couple of details, I really enjoyed the story of this new Spider-Man game. I can't say that I have played it myself, but I watched a playthrough that summarizes the game. These figures are mostly based on the characters' respective designs from the game. From L to R:
Martin Li: The head is from the TMNT Shredder Polybag. I would make a Mr. Negative, but making him out of black and white pieces wouldn't do his design justice. Instead, I opted to invert the colors on a photo of the martin Li figure I made, and it did the job. You can see that here: instagram.com/p/Bn0FfXSg8qL/
Doctor Octopus: The head is from the latest Ghostbusters set. I designed his robotic arms so that he could stand up on his own.
Spider-Man: Man, I really wish I had the MCU Spider-Man head. The body and head are from the Raimi movies, and the legs are from Mr. Freeze.
Electro: Here's where I took a couple liberties. I made his skin yellow because his electricity is yellow in the game, and it sort of resonates in him. Also the expression is great for him.
Kingpin: I made the head from a Lex Luthor head by cutting off the neck and adding some details around his eyes.
Since I made Electro, I would have made other characters from the R.A.F.T. such as Scorpion, Vulture, and Rhino, but each of them had characteristics that I just didn't have the parts to recreate.
Here is my Justice League made from only official Lego figures with no mods to them, purist or custom. All of these figures come from the new 2015 DC sets minus Martian Manhunter. My Brainiac Attacks set was backordered, so I used my MM from the polybag, and not the one from the set. That also means I don't have Supergirl yet. Because I don't have here, I didn't add Superboy to this photo either.

Satellite from a little polybag, set 30365. The set was bought because I wanted another astronaut in a white EVA-suit, but that little satellite was nice too!
Greek and international artists perform in this two millennia old theater constructed by the romans. Not sure why the black polybags were placed along the seats, though.

War machine: got rid of that ridiculous cyborg head and replaced it with the glorious cheekboned face fem the original sets. Also, New war hammer/shoulder mounted gun.
Iron man: Silver centurion polybag face, mark 45 legs.
Falson: Only non-purist guy here, painted arms, bootleg legs/body.
Scarlet witch: Bricklinked a more accurate head.

Hey there!
Few weeks ago I was pleasured to hear that I had been chosen as one of the contestants of #wielkawalkamocerow (Polish for "Great Builder Battle") Hosted by LS_Bricks store on BL. My task was to do something medieval. I received 4 sets: Creator Castle 31120, Bonsai Tree 10281, City Coin Bank 40110 and SW ARC-170 Polybag. I was obliged to use at least 80% of the parts given (total of around 2500) and I wasn't allowed to add any other parts from my collection.
Sooo, here's the result! :D
A windmill placed ontop of a cliff.
Why such title, you may ask?
This build was a pain to complete sometimes, a lot of overnight work with university tests, other projects and life stuff. The scene I've presented here could resemble that a little: the mill owner had just finished his work, when knights arrived to collect the royal tax and then, a wild beast emerges from the river. Life sucks, man! :D
Hope you like it guys!
There'll be a public Facebook poll soon to choose the winner. Let's see how good I'm gonna score. ;)
More details will be posted on my Instagram:
I'm excited for this set because of the return of the Lex Luthor armor minifig from the polybag release a few years back! I missed it then and never went out of my way to buy it on the aftermarket.
Hello folks, it's Alex here and I had the biggest astromech in LEGO : The polybag number 30611😃✌️

At my local movie theater, they a promotion that if you go to the "LEGO Batman Movie" on opening weekend, you would you get a free polybag for every ticket..... And that's why you go to the movie theater with your family. :)
Got two of the 3PO polybags today. After about an hour of erasing, I successfully created a Force Awakens and Prequel C-3POs without side leg printing
From L to R:

3D view on Mecabricks - note the description.
You might remember I've bought a Shell polybag recently. Turns out it wasn't the only one for me - got myself a 30193 250 GT Berlinetta just a couple days later =P
While these Ferrari polybags are a nice relic I don't really want to disassemble, I couldn't help but think it will be a good idea to use its red nosecut part, borrowed from Finn McMissile of Cars 2, as anything but a Tiny Turbo "nose". Not really a fresh idea by any means, since that's exactly how LEGO designed McMissile's spy colleague, Holley Shiftwell. In the end, a mixed hybrid of 50's tailfin era cars and 60's muscle cars was born, with the decreased ride height a la contemporary lowriders - think it's possible IRL thanks to conveniently designed empty space inside the nosecut. And it was a small rendering challenge for me, too - Mecabricks doesn't have the 93597 part in library, which is fairly understandable due to its obscurity, so I decided to borrow this part mesh from Studio. Worked relatively well combined with Mecabricks materials.
