An old 40's Polaroid I found in an antique market. Such achievements. I love looking at these older cameras.
FP-100C Polaroid Land Camera #savepackfilm. Please look into the save pack film movement! This is an amazing medium!
This Polaroid was taken during a turning point in my creative process, as well as my life. I used a technique that was new to me and it changed my thinking and my direction. I still have it, it is the only one of its kind.
Polaroid film to me is about an emotional response, a memory that can be held and considered. It is about the flow of working with images as soon as they are created. Almost like drawing with film.
When a photo comes out of the camera I can see if I want to adjust it or take another shot almost instantly. I can decide to continue with the current line or create another direction to the piece altogether.
The immediacy and characteristics of the Polaroid film is so unique and appears to be infused with a sense of nostalgia that is so seductive to me.
Save Polaroid!
Thank you ;)
Solid plastic instant camera made by Polaroid from 1971-1976, uses two AA batteries and the 80 series peel apart land film, also can use flashcubes mounted onto side of lens housing
It isn't superb like the old Polaroids, but they start to give some pleasant result. Expensive, however. Shot with SX-70

O, that delightful engine of her thoughts
That blabb'd them with such pleasing eloquence,
Is torn from forth that pretty hollow cage,
Where, like a sweet melodious bird, it sung
Sweet varied notes, enchanting every ear!
