This is my third Polaroid Land, the 240. It was made between 1967 and 1969, and retailed for $129.95. This was a gift from my best friend. I use Fuji FC-100 peel film on it.
Going through some old boxes when I came across this old beauty. I found the packaging and enclosed materials to be quite fascinating - such a richer experience than is provided by the cardboard boxes and pdf manuals of today.

Polaroid back shots from a Hasselblad back in 2005. These are pretty damaged so I wanted to scan them before they got even worse.

The batteries are on the film pack.
It had me well confused at first.
I could see it had a flash so of course I looked for the battery compartment.
It doesnt have one!
The films for these are super expensive.
If you must have an instamatic camera the Fuji Instax is a lot cheaper for films.

went to the protest in downtown Vegas. it was so heartbreaking hearing the stories of other people who have lost loved ones.
