Panel discussion on "Using Media for Peace Building" is being held at Srimavo Bandaranaike Exhibition Centre, Colombo, Sri Lanka. Panel discussion coincides with the Sthree Mela exhibition which continues till 10th December 2011at Srimavo Bandaranaike Exhibition Centre. The exhibition showcases achievements of women in the social, economic, cultural political and human development. It is organised by a broad coalition of women’s groups together with cross party senior women politician’s coalition and the TEAM 1325.

leeds international pool opened in 1967 and lasted 40 years. it was going to be called 'leeds olympic pool' but it was built a couple of inches too short to qualify for the olympic standard. after closing the pool (now drained) was opened to the public for a couple of months.

The interesting thing abou this photo is the DoF. Because I was using the PB-6 bellows, I had some swing, and shift, so I could have the object off-axis to the film plane, and keep all of in focus, because I could exploit Schleimpflug.

18th Annual Math and Science Day
The theme for this year's Annual Math and Science Day is “What Can Movies Teach Us About Science?” The day focuses on what math and science children can learn from the movies "Hidden Figures" and "Black Panther."
The Annual Math and Science Day is conducted by Kwanzaa Year Round, Science for Kids Ministry, and hosted by the Five Points West Regional Branch Library.
Elinor and Winfield Burks of Science for Kids have organized Math and Science Day for 18 years. They host weekly Ensley Science Club programs at Ensley Branch Library during the school year.
