Le zoo de La Palmyre est un parc zoologique français situé sur la côte atlantique de la Nouvelle-Aquitaine, en Charente-Maritime, dans la presqu'île d'Arvert, entre Royan et l'Île d'Oléron. Créé en 1966 par Claude Caillé, le parc est toujours la propriété de sa famille.

As I was laying in the mud to get that perfect POV of the Mandarin and Wood Duck swimming in the creek, a couple dogs started to bark and they took off. Wasn't quite ready for this shot. What a fun moment that was! Pennypack Trail, Huntingdon Valley Bryn Athyn PA.

Pittsburgh is sometimes called the "Three Rivers City" because of the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, forming the Ohio River. This picture, showing downtown Pittsburgh, was taken from our position at the top of the Duquesne Incline ( a funicular lift). The Fort Pitt Bridge crosses the Monongahela, leading to downtown.
During colonial times, British and French armies traded places which led to the construction (and deconstruction) of four different forts on the peninsula separating the two rivers. It's now a State Park with a towering fountain at the end of the point.
