Fringe legend Michael Wanzie said he liked my table-toppers, so I asked him for a photo with it. Elizabeth Maupin is the Orlando reviewer who provided the quote. She is awesome. I thought the "Pointless" quote poster would just be a funny thing to see as you walk through the halls.

From the street, these totally look like they could be hanging platforms to me. They creep me out every time.

instead of playing pointless video games tonight, i completed (for the most part) a dress for my mod molly doll that i have dubbed:
Gladys (the doll not the dress :P )
this is a fabric swatch from joanne's that i randomly picked up, and it's small size was perfect for a dress for blythe. i had no pattern, but i just used the dress that mod molly comes with (the jumper) to get a rough idea of the size.
i measured it, and i transferred the measurements to paper. i cut the front piece on the fold, and the back piece on the fold.
to make the back, i just cut down the center, and attached velcro to either side of the length of the cut.
i hemmed the bottom pieces first, before sewing, because that's a TINY hem. usually, i can wrap the hem around the base of my sewing machine but not this one (even with my fancy new sewing machine!).
i attached both pieces, and as a finishing touch, i used embroidery thread to attach an edging of pom poms.
i love this outfit because it matches Gladys' green eyes! next, i'm making little flats out of felt! ^_^
