This nicely constructed but pointless sidewalk ramp and yellow accessible rumble strips can be found near the intersection of E. Saginaw St. and southbound N. Howard Ave. Surviving pedestrian crossing N. Howard Ave. from the sidewalk to nowhere.
HD (1:06) Walking up the main hill at the Gorge between sets at the Sasquatch! Music Festival. Admittedly it's kind of pointless other than to see the huge crowd.

This pointless road picture shows an exit on the 23-mile-long Audubon Parkway, which runs between Henderson and Owensboro, KY. From the time the road opened in 1970 Until 2006, this was a toll road, and there was a toll booth beneath this overpass where you had to toss a quarter into a basket. Every time I pass this way now, I tell myself I'm 25 cents richer.
When I worked at the newspaper, I had a boss with a much closer connection to this overpass. She was a Boomer woman born in the 1950s who grew up in a house that was right here, and by right here, I mean right where the overpass and interchange is now, They had to bomb out her childhood home to build the parkway. She paid that 25-cent toll more grudgingly than most.
It is almost pointless to operate an ambulance in Tonopah: their hospital closed down about two years ago. I'd be surprised if they repair this one. You'd have to rely on a medevac flight to Reno or Las Vegas if you have a heart attack in Tonopah now.

If the mongs can't even use the correct grammar and punctuation, it makes it even more pointless and it alienates people from trying to understand.

Spent the weekend constructing an escape-proof kennel. Learned today that Shane's recovery period must be spent indoors. That is to say, indoors. The wounds are too serious. Indoors. We can't even start the heartworm treatment (another ordeal to come). Indoors...
This news raises logistical questions I am still pondering. My calico cat is displeased. And she has no idea yet that the doggy door will be closed.
How many hours will it take to potty train a one year old, wounded, frightened, feral dog? Well, he's officially a dog now, and he'll just have to start acting like it.
