Although the first two SPDs Aldershot got, I managed to get shots of, they've now gone.

More recently, further examples have arrived, none of which I've even seen yet.

At 1552, I saw this one - Stagecoach Hants & Surrey 33054 (X954 VAP), and assumed it was about to leave on the 1545 70 to Midhurst, so rushed up to the other end of the bus station before it left.

You can see all the passengers aboard it in my photo of the Compass Bus Solo next along in my photostream.

After a few minutes, the bus still hadn't left, so it was becoming obvious that my first sighting of the infamously unreliable SPDs would in fact be one that had died.

At just before 1600, all the passengers were unloaded from the bus, and after much revving, the driver backed it out of the stand and onto the wall...

Most of the passengers went for the 72, which by this point had arrived, and used the adjacent stand.

Arriva Buses Wales 807 - Dennis Dart SLF 9.3m / Plaxton Pointer 2 S877 SNB - is seen operating shuttle route S1/10S to Southsea, Rollers Arms. This free route should be operating for up to three months whilst works take place on the Talwrn Road and service 10/11 will no longer serve Southsea as a result.

Until recently 7553 (R553 ABA) has been used displaying 'Not in Service' but this display has been added to the list as number 100.

Taken with a Canon AE-1 Program with a 50mm f/1.8 lens. Kodak Tri-x 400 film expired in 2009. Developed in D-76 1-1 at 24C for 7.75m with standard agitation. Scanned with an Epson V500.

I was waiting for Stagecoach Hants & Surrey 34854 (GX06 DXC) to come down the road on the 400, and just as it started to move, Arriva Kent & Surrey 3110 (T110 LKK) came flying round its back end on the 37. It stopped and let the 400 go, so I just about managed this shot before 3110 was hidden from view again.

I guess there won't be many more months where Arriva Darts and the 400 co-exist.

The image has been softened to evoke a dreamlike quality. It depicts a dream where you're walking along a path and encounter a crossroads: the left path leads in a single direction, while the right offers two options. Alternatively, you could continue straight ahead, following a dark path adorned with signs that hint at potential dangers and new challenges in life.

Jiggs loves peering over this hill in the woods. When he spots something in the distance he goes crashing down the hill and into the creek bellow. I figure he is looking for frogs to chase - they are his favorite :-)

WALL-E wonders what he can do with this pointer finger.
