Trusty cat helper. ;) 524 yards mostly worsted weight with some variation to dk and bulky. I spun this so I could knit a long cowl version of the BFF seed pod on knitty www.knitty.com/ISSUEdf12/PATTbff.php, that can be twisted and wrapped over the head twice like the gaptastic cowl. I just love knitting this pattern. Fibers from multiple sources, gifts, swaps, and myself. Very soft and lots of sparkle.

There may not be anything special about my portrait technique, but there is much that is special about this individual.

This is a quick snapshot of Nancy during her surprise "going away" party. It is true that Nancy isn't really going far (only to another part of the hospital) but for an individual who has worked so closely with all of us in the department, the day-to-day interaction with her will be missed. I'm relatively new to the department but I have quickly come to appreciate Nancy's assistance in guiding the "clueless new guy" as well as our pleasant conversations about beautiful places.

I wish Nancy well in this next step of her career and I look forward to more conversations along the way.

A solenidade foi realizada no Salão Solimões do Centro Cultural Palácio Rio Negro e contou com a presença do Corregedor Nacional de Justiça, Ministro Mauro Campbell Marques; do presidente do Tribunal de Justiça do Amazonas, desembargador Jomar Fernandes; do corregedor-geral de Justiça do Amazonas, desembargador José Hamilton Saraiva dos Santos; do governador do Estado, Wilson Miranda Lima; do prefeito de Manaus, David Almeida, dentre outras autoridades. Na mesma solenidade, o Poder Judiciário Estadual, também por meio da Corregedoria-geral de Justiça do Amazonas realizou a solenidade de outorga da “Medalha da Ordem da Grã-Cruz”. Nesta primeira edição, a honraria, na categoria “Grande Mérito” foi outorgada ao ministro Mauro Campbell Marques e a 15 ex-corregedores-gerais de Justiça do Amazonas, pela relevância dos serviços por estes prestados, com impacto significativo e duradouro na melhoria dos serviços judiciários.
