Kamienica Pod Gryfami, Rynek, Wrocław, 9 marca 2016 r.
Budynek został zbudowany w latach 1587-89 w stylu manierystycznym. Szczyt ozdabiają płaskorzeźby gryfów, od których dom wziął swoją nazwę.

The building was built in 1587-89 in the mannerist style. The gable is decorated with reliefs of griffins giving the house's name.
Clivia seed pods. They usually fall off as soon as I point a camera at them. This time the pods stayed in place, but the plant was short of a leaf in the right place to manage the backlighting a little better. I'll keep trying;)

Já era madrugada qdo Yachi e Frozen se encontraram em um dos galpões secretos de Vitto. Eles já estavam bem à vontade, com as roupas abertas por causa do calor - Yachi já havia tirado até os sapatos - e conversando como dois amigos... Dias atrás eles haviam marcado de beber um whisky especial comprado às custas do pobre Noah.
Frozen: Sai fora, Yachi, vc se acha demais! Vc até podia ser tudo isso lá no teu pedaço, mas depois que vc veio pra cá enxotado com uma mão na frente outra trás, vc ficou queimado. Ninguém mais cai nos teus truques! Vc devia era baixar a tua bola...
Yachi: Eu ainda posso fazer muitos truques, Frozen. É só vc pedir... - e vai com os dedos leves percorrendo a nuca de Frozen.
Frozen pareceu não se incomodar. Apenas continuou a conversa tranquilamente:
- Eu já tenho um cachorrinho bem treinado que me faz ótimos truques. E ele está esquentando a minha cama neste exato momento. Eu o ensinei muito bem, não preciso de outro... - e vira uma dose de whisky toda de uma vez - ... mas se vc está tão afim assim de me mostrar suas habilidades, eu posso abrir uma exceção...
Yachi: Claro... - e se aproxima, sussurando na orelha do amigo - Eu prometo ser discreto.
Frozen: Mas não assim fácil, ôh boquinha de veludo! - o empurra - Tem o Noah.
Yachi revira os olhos: Aff! Esse moleque de novo... O que que ele tem a ver?
Frozen: Vc disse que ia roubar ele de novo.
Yachi: Ahã. Eu preciso de dinheiro, infelizmente. E agora eu sei como pegar. Um armário com chave não vai ser suficiente...
Frozen: Eu não gosto dele! Ele me irrita! Vc tirou dinheiro dele e ele ficou ainda mais na cola do meu Panda!
Yachi: Hmmmm... vc tem ciúmes do ruivinho com o seu namorado?
Frozen: ...talvez... - responde incomodado - Vc precisa fazer mais do que só tirar dinheiro dele. Eu quero que vc o tire de perto do meu Panda!!!

Every year I think I will make it too the Missouri Botanical Garden in time to see the lotus blooms. This year I made it,, just barely. There were maybe ten still in bloom and maybe another ten yet to bloom.
The best of what remained was far enough from shore to prohibit access. I did get a good shot of two blooms but they were not in the best of shape, probably owing to their close proximity to the shore.
I did get a good shot of one still opening and will post that next. For now, this "still green" seed pod is the greenest pod I've been fortunate enough to encounter.
Enormous amount of monkfish liver on the hot pod. It can be eaten raw. Actually we did a little, and it's so tasty. While boiling the hot pod, the liver is getting melted into the broth... Ahh, what a great hot pod! I'm happy that I was born in Japan. Yes, I was born to love you, hot pod!
BTW, this phase reminds me of this song, which everyone knows!

Its time for the seeds to develop. It will transform into many different shapes. This was taken about 10:30am.

Kamienicę zbudowaną w 1887 r., noszącą nazwę od zdobiącego jej szczyt smoka, zaprojektował Teodor Talowski. W młodości mieszkała tutaj aktorka Teatru Starego Anna Polony.

The House Under the Dragon, Smoleńsk str., Kraków, January 4, 2015
The house dating back from 1887, named after the dragon decorating the gable, was designed by Teodor Talowski. In her youth Anna Polony, an actress from the Old Theatre, lived here.
This is a pod of Orcas surfacing simultaneously in the Johnstone Strait off the northeast coast of Vancouver Island. When the dorsal fins appear at the surface they remind me of an unfolding Swiss Army Knife. Each of the animals in this group will be blood relatives. The enormous triangular fins are adult males and the smaller curved fins are females and young animals. The males will wander off to mate with females in other pods, and males from other pods will do the same with this pod. But the males always return to the pod with their mothers. This group are known as "Residents", but despite the name they do wander in search of their prey. They specialise in fish feeding, mainly salmon, and hunt these cooperatively by herding shoals before stunning them by whacking their tails into the shoals.

My entry for the CABG Military Podracer guild build.
The Death Pod, also known as the "Podracer of Doom" and "The Racing Death", was a kind of military podracer built by a barbaric skeleton-like race in order to protect their planet from invasion during the Clone Wars. It was feared in many systems. Based on the engine design of Mawhonic's powerful GPE-3130 and the aerodynamic cockpit design of Anakin Skywalker's podracer, it was pretty fast for a podracer of its size. The small side turbines were swapped for heavy Gatling guns and turbo lasers were added on top of the engines. Also, the protective grates in front of the large turbines were removed and spikes were added in their place to allow enemies to get chopped up when getting run over by the pod. The cockpit featured two twin blasters, two missiles, and a tank full of napalm that could be dropped in order to get rid of unwanted tailgaters.
