I spun this so I could knit a long cowl version of the BFF seed pod on knitty www.knitty.com/ISSUEdf12/PATTbff.php, that can be twisted and wrapped over the head twice like the gaptastic cowl. I just love knitting this pattern. Fibers from multiple sources, gifts, swaps, and myself. Very soft and lots of sparkle.
After having lots of problems getting previous pods to maturity, I finally lucked out and got seeds from my plant. Really excited!

En el marco del Informe 2013 de Adolfo López Badillo, como Presidente de la Comisión de Derechos Humanos en el Estado, El Magistrado Presidente Roberto Flores Toledano, señaló que el cuidado y respeto de los derechos humanos se trabaja en causa común.
“Los Tres Poderes del Estado, estamos y seguiremos estando profundamente comprometidos con hacer valer y respetar los derechos humanos de los ciudadanos “, señaló
Flores Toledano, hizo hincapié en que el Poder Judicial del Estado de Puebla, se ha esforzado por construir un sistema de justicia ágil e innovador, que responda a las necesidades actuales de la sociedad, privilegiando el apego a los derechos humanos.
Por su parte el Ombusman nacional, Raúl Plascencia, dijo que con la entrada en vigor del nuevo sistema de justicia penal, se podrá garantizar una defensa adecuada de todas las personas que acuden a hacer un reclamo de justicia, lo que fortalece al estado mexicano y se dé una mejor respuesta a los ciudadanos.

This is a quick snapshot of Nancy during her surprise "going away" party. It is true that Nancy isn't really going far (only to another part of the hospital) but for an individual who has worked so closely with all of us in the department, the day-to-day interaction with her will be missed. I'm relatively new to the department but I have quickly come to appreciate Nancy's assistance in guiding the "clueless new guy" as well as our pleasant conversations about beautiful places.
I wish Nancy well in this next step of her career and I look forward to more conversations along the way.
