Flying out of SFO Airport last week i saw this huge advertisement for the new Marriot Plugin Rooms. I thought it was so cool that i snapped this picture so i could remember to look into what they are offering when i returned.
Although they are not offering wall sized displays like the Ad shows (plus even if they did i couldn't afford to stay in those rooms!) as a digital traveler things like large HD split screens and multiple device plugins, would certainly get my attention when i need to make a reservation.
When i travel, i like many others carry a lot of gear to make things work. Here is one of my travel bags from a recent trip to a conference in San Diego that only shows half the cords and plugin devices i was traveling with!

Plugins Icon: The metaphor is obvious but the execution I think is fun. Inside Moovida all the icons sit on a 'wall' or panel on the Main Menu. So i had fun with the fact that the puzzle piece can 'plug into' a recess in that wall. If you look closely in Moovida, that slot is also semi-transparent or has opacity.
People like to know how much time it takes me to do these, well, the rush to get 2.0 out the door was so tight you will be shocked: 1 hour
