This is the plug from our first transportable phone. What a thrill it was to be able to make calls while traveling in our car, back in the nineties. We still have the phone and it is in mint condition. It also weighs in at 5 pounds. Quite a difference from todays light weight cell phones.

An art installation that is a giant size sink plug, the balls seen here are part of the chain used to pull the plug out.
This is probably 2-3 feet across.
Just a little "plugging " with Harristown Garage PA 33 Enviro400ER operating an evening route 41 to Swords Manor seen here transiting through Dublin Airport.
While route 41 is operated from Summerhill Garage, additional morning & evening peak services are "plugged " by additional buses from Harristown Garage.
By the time this photo was taken in early September 2021, these new plug in electric hybrid buses from Alexander were operating at Broadstone on route 140, Harristown on route 4 & route 122 at Phibsboro. Route 123 will become PA operated during September from Summerhill garage.
Overspill buses, particularly at Phibsboro & Harristown have been appearing on other routes, like the above photo.

Anyone thinking of getting an electric car?
A relative of mine had a 2 year old prestige! German Plug in Hybrid .
She had just done the school run with the oldest child and returned home, where she Plugged in the car to re charge. Then went to the rear of the car to remove her 2 year old daughter.. She thought she could smell burning so quickly removed the child and within 2 minutes the car was a fireball..
Think I'll stick to being a "Petrolhead for now...
