The Ladybower Reservoir is famous for being the location where Barnes Wallis developed the famous bouncing bomb, used during World War II to destroy the Möhne, Eder and Sorpe dams in the Ruhr area of The Netherlands.
We were hoping to see the reservoir at a higher level and overflowing into the plug hole for a long exposure, but unfortunately, it was not to be.

Two replacement NEMA 5-15P plugs, in low-profile and straight styles. The low-profile plug's shell can be oriented in 15˚ increments to select an optimal angle for the cord to exit..
This fire plug was on the same lot as the abandoned buildings in the background. Burt I guess if you’re going to have a fire plug anywhere it should be where there’s a lot of old dry wood.
You'd need a very big plunger if this plughole became blocked. One of the two bellmouth spillways at Ladybower Reservoir in the Peak District.
