Electric bolts coming off the pins of a Electric plug into a two pin Electric Adaptor socket. The electric was created using a Electric gas Igniter but what you can't see is the Ozone gas given of by the spark. It a shame I couldn't create the shot Underwater 😂
A close-up of a very old bath drain plug sitting on a tile shelf, stylized with an aged film effect.
Developed with Darktable 3.6.0. I used GIMP's G'MIC "Stylize" filter to embed the film emulsion layer into the photo.

This is the drain in the centre of Shancastle Loch - I presume it has a drain because it is one of the few lochs in Scotland that is man made! A lake in Scotland is known as a Loch
Plugs...had a hard time with this. Tried to find something unique, this is all I could come up with. Gel like plug that lite up when connected to vaccum (no power needed to glow)????

For this Macro Monday photo the gas cook top became my work bench. I had the spark plug in the shed but the only way I could get the nice blue spark was to harness the electricity of the gas cooker.

A stereo pair of RCA plugs.
While trying out a few subjects for MM, I discovered that the good old Makro-Kilar has a nice bubble bokeh, similar to the Meyer Trioplan. I couldn't resist to play around with different lightings, shooting with the Makro-Kilar wide open ...

A huge sink plug, as part of the features around Battersea Power Station, reflections in a water feature with the power station in the background.
Lift 109 at the top of the nearest chimney can also be seen sticking out overlooking the surrounding London scape.
It was a busy scene so some colour popping was ideal.
Image taken on Nikon D750 with 16mm fisheye lens but the feature turned off in Lightroom Classic, ISO 250, shutter 1/320, and aperture f/ 6.3 all processed in Lightroom Classic.
Just in time for The Jail Event! These unisex ear plugs, designed for the swallow mesh ears are an eye catcher!
I've only been back in LA a few days now and it feels a bit odd that I didn't take a single photo back in Maryland for the 2 weeks I was there. I didnt bring my good tripod since it doesn't fit in my carry on and forgot a piece to my travel tripod making it worthless. The only tripod I had was the 1ft tall one I use for Scotch portraits which is no for any other type of shooting. I did spend an afternoon driving to some of the places I used to frequently visit with Scotch last summer but they just didn't seem as exciting as before. Perhaps I've just been way to spoiled by the coast of Southern California
I originally shot this last summer when Scotch and I were driving around the very rural Rocky Ridge, Maryland area. I had just crossed over the Monocacy River Bridge and snaked up a hill until this property appeared in the distance. I pulled off the road and took a few shots before the light disappeared. At the time I took this, it was one of my favorite shots to date and then I forgot about it.
I was barely into manual at the time, still getting used to using a tripod for everything and had absolutely zero editing abilities or understanding. The image I loved last June seemed flat now, with no details, some incorrect color and lighting adjustments, and no longer had the same appeal to me at all. I decided to plug the original into my current style of post and really liked the difference it made. Still a beautiful place with the Catoctin Mountain range in the far distance.
