I make no excuse for posting loads of these shots. It was a nice day and I needed some photos for an allotment competition.
our plan for the weekend is to put in all the early seeds. or, more accurately, for me to sit on my bed-resting arse while closely supervising tex planting the seeds (poor guy). and, even though we have three new beds - the ones on the right - still there isn't enough space for everything i wanna grow. but - tex came home from a run the other day and said that as he ran up to our house, he had visions of tetris-block-like beds all over the front lawn, making a kind of glorious vegetable maze to walk through. (ok, he didn't use the word "glorious," but everything else was his.) so i'll make do for this year, while secretly plotting the contents of my tetris garden of 2013.

These were seen with some pro-leavers early in the day. They re-appeared later and seemed to be acting strangely. Two police officers turned up and they fled the scene. Seemed a bit strange.
The post-it notes I am using to plan this year's Yuletide are slowly colonising my living room.

This 14" x 16.5" mini quilt was made with one mini charm pack freebie that came in my welcome bag for QuiltCon. I bordered the quilt with a couple of leftover jelly roll strips from Moda's Best Day Ever . It reminds me of plotting a quilt on graph paper.

While investing in a property, you’ll either have to choose between a plot or flat. This can be a big dilemma as both a plot and flat have pros and cons. Investing in a plot or flat comes with their own set of benefits and challenges. A flat is the best option if you’re investing in the city area. It can yield good returns once the real estate price of the locality spikes up. A flat scores higher when compared with a plot for investment. If you’re planning to build a house for your future settlement, require freedom to resize or change the structure, then a plot is the best option for you. A flat, on the other hand, has certain limitations on the size of the construction. This presentation provides valuable information about which is the best investment option for a long-term, a plot or flat. I took myself for a walk today - the weather has finally been above freezing.
One of my favorite places to walk is the local cemetery. It's right alongside a small lake, and just so relaxing and scenic. I love exploring the mix of headstones, wondering about the residents both old and new...and taking pictures. I have many from over the years.
I was having fun processing today - I just received lightroom so whatever I did to this photo I did there. I didn't take real good track of my steps - I was having too much fun. I found it to be a little bit more user friendly for processing RAW photos than CS3 is - I wasn't expecting that.

This is some hand-cut rubylith that I did today for work. The plotter doesn't quite cut straight, so I used the pen to plot out the design on paper, then hand-cut the ruby with a razorblade.
