driving in jamaica is frightening to watch. the car in front of us was about 3 feet away from the bumper and we were going 80-90 kph. we were also riding the line and hanging into the other lane since we planned to pass the car at some point. love how passing and traffic flows down there. everyone just expects to come around a corner with a car coming at them in both lanes and everyone just squeezes in to fit. amazing, but scary. and of course the roads... the sections they are redoing are nice but there are sections that are just mud and pot holes.

not sure who's brilliant idea it was to make it cheaper to fly north from atlanta to DC and then south to jamaica. our flight left the airport at 6:00AM, way too stinking early. we got to the airport early (as you should these days) and actually had to wait on the united airlines staff to show up to work before we could check-in.
