L533 limps home from Manitowoc. The trailing two units are dead. The lead unit's cab is a bit cramped with two crews in it. The old CNW trestle (now a hike/bike trail) is in the far background.

Trying to wrap my head around a concept at the moment that suggests that the conscious observer creates the universe, rather than the universe having somehow created the observer.
What I understand that means is that everything exists in a probability state until it's observed. So, if a programme is being broadcast, but if everyone has their TVs switched off, does that programme exist? Your eyes don't see stuff, they simply convey information through synapses and nerves to the back of your brain. You see what you want to see.

This is where Federico Fellini & Giulietta Masina would stay whenever they went to visit Rimini,& Fellini depicted the hotel in Amarcord. He didn't film here (shot at CineCitta in Rome), but it was based on this hotel.

This is Gabriel Dawe's Plexus A1 at the Renwick Gallery in Washington, DC. Using thread, wood, hooks and steel, and light, the creation resembles a rainbow. It is genuinely ethereal.
