The Plexus convention was held from June 15th through June 18th at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Ambassadors and their guests had access to an exclusive Pop Up shop that was only available to attendees of convention.

Gabriel Dawe's work above is one of 9 installations included in the Renwick Gallery's 'Wonder' exhibit.

Per the Renwick:

"Dawe's architecturally scaled weavings are often mistaken for fleeting rays of light. The material he uses and the vivid colors recall the embroideries found everywhere in production during Dawe's upbringing in Mexico City and East Texas."

This artwork by Gabriel Dawe was installed in the Toledo Museum of Art November 2016 — January 2017. It comprised literally miles of threads in the full spectrum of visible light, strung between ceiling and floor. "Plexus" is an anatomical term, a network of blood vessels and nerves.
