On our way to Russell Falls, we passed through this section of primeval rain forest. The light rain made everything seem fresh and clean, while the lack of people was a pleasant surprise.

The Juyong Pass, it was first mentioned in a second century BC philosophical book as one of the great nine passes in the competing kingdoms of China. Juyong Pass was also said to have been used in the Qin Dynasty when the First Emperor, Qin Shihuangdi started the Great Wall.

We went back to Paradise again last weekend. Most of the flowers have died by now sadly. Very short growing season. We found one of these remaining patches in the valley and saw some deer frolicking by the river down below. These alpine meadows are truly a beautiful sight!

I was originally trying to get the shadows of the leaves in the window, but the sun came and it was just perfect. Kind of a weird crop, I couldn't really get it right, so I gave up. Tomorrow is Friday, I swear this has been the longest week, EVER. Not to mention, next week is going to be even longer for me. Nobody's answered my question from the last shot, so I'll give it another try, here.
If you've ordered a blurb book, tell me how it is and what you recommend.
Okay.. not a question, but a request :) And yes, I've made a book, and the quality of the pictures SUCKED, but I love the program/idea and want to give it another chance.
