West Midlands based Sven Christainsen PLC have replaced their current fleet of IVECOs with four new Euro 6 #Scania G250DB4x2MNA Chassis Cabs complete with Fred Smith & Son Body Work. The trucks are equipped with the G Highline Cabs and are powered by the 9 litre power unit linked to the Scania two pedal opticruise. They will be maintained on a 5 year R&M contract which includes the Scania OnBoard control package.

This is a Siemens S7-300 PLC I have for testing. These are quite powerful and for most of my projects (in automation) LOGOs would be much better suited. I have one LOGO coming soon but for some reason Siemens thinks it's a good idea to have different programming softwares for different PLCs so I have to install and learn another IDE just for these smaller PLCs.

The relays to the left control a 3 light dwarf CPL and the rectifier is for a CNW dwarf semaphore and provides 110VDC. The two relays to the right are the semaphore control. The PLC is a MicroLogix 1000 Programmed by ZCG US.

INFO UPDATE JULY 9TH:
This fire was in-between Clark street and Mc Farlane street across from St James park in Paisley where the smoke could be seen for miles. While on Mc Farlane street It looked like “Engine Engineering” firm was on fire, though the media said “Augean PLC” on Clark street was in flames.
All the roads around this industrial estate where closed off, though by using Ferguslie parks old “Cowboy Valley”. I managed to shoot the fire from various places till ending back at Murry street, since Clark street was totally closed off in all directions.
Here a police officer was stationed to block off Mackean st and he said 6 fire crews tackled the blaze though media are now saying 50 fire crews fought the massive blaze with foam and water.
This video shows the blaze from Greenhill rd, St James rail station, cowbow valley. Swift car parking, the motorway, St james park, Mc Farlane street, Clark st, Murry st and Mackean st.
