Playground castle

I'm currently on parental leave with our youngest son and playgrounds have turned to photo project. And Copenhagen has many exciting playgrounds.

On Århus Plads there is a pirate playground - quite popular for both my sons...

Playground :-)

(Swedish: Jubileumsparken) A park close to the river for Gothenburg's 400th anniversary. The first phase of the Jubilee Park is an excursion playground. It was completed and opened in August 2022. It consists of around twenty artistic play sculptures, to challenge curiosity and stimulate the imagination.

The playground is framed by trees and shrubs. Around thirty of the big trees have been moved from other parts of the city due to the construction of a train tunnel under the city centre.

Designed by artists and architects New Order Arkitektur.

This is such a weird-looking photo everyone will think that I manipulated it in PS but I didn't. Well, I did flip it upside down but other than that, and a little saturation boost, I did nothing. The part that threw me off was the reflection in the puddle. It makes more sense when seen right side up.

Playgrounds in Pitz'e Serra park.

Image of the bushings supporting a handicap swing set in Enfield, Nova Scotia Canada. Had to get out for a walk this morning to avoid the news broadcasts. Nova Scotia Liquor stores have pulled all American products off the shelves and Grocery stores have highlighted the Canadian made products to make those inclined informed to avoid US.

Henrietta and Orson

Playing with selective colour editing, but took the photo because of the spiral and shadow.

My local OhioLUG built a large summer camp display that is currently on exhibit at the Columbus Metropolitan Library. I contributed a playground that I built in two weeks. I tried to make the playground structures fit the context by using earth-toned colors and elements from nature such as the wooden stumps. Many of the playground elements are based on features from playgrounds I’ve taken my kid to.
