ACE Machinery was founded in 1919 by Hambrook Russell Jones.

They were a specialist in the construction of plant for gas companies, coke debreezing, and vibrating screen units.

In 1937, they exhibited a "Tower" Platform Friction Hoist at the British Industries Fair.

They patented improvements to power operated guided skip hoists in 1958.

Instead of getting off the platform in Naperville, IL, this BNSF worker flies down the platform between the actual station and Loomis Street. This is the second platform fail here in a month!
